About Classroom Outdoors
Classroom Outdoors is the umbrella name for school residential trips and activity day experiences provided by SU Scotland at our three centres; Lendrick Muir, Alltnacriche and Gowanbank. We have been delivering school residential experiences for over 30 years. Each year, we partner with schools to provide outdoor learning experiences for thousands of pupils.
Our cross-curricular range of activities responds to the Curriculum for Excellence. The residential experience is a great opportunity to explore the whole person, helping pupils to develop personal and social skills and build self-esteem, while learning about their environment. We deliver relevant, interactive, dynamic and inspirational sessions that bring outdoor learning to life.
Qualified outdoor activity instructors and experienced staff partner with you to design and deliver a high-quality educational programme.
Our activity centres are guided by a Christian ethos, driven not by profit but by our commitment to providing children and young people with enriching outdoor experiences. We welcome children of all faiths and backgrounds and aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment for them to connect with themselves, others and the outdoors.
